What is Camber?

“Camber angle is the angle made by the wheel of a vehicle; specifically, it is the angle between the vertical axis of the wheels used for steering and the vertical axis of the vehicle when viewed from the front or rear. It is used in the design of steering and suspension. By changing the angle of attack, or the Camber Angle, the vehicle is able change its cornering performance. Camber angle alters the handling qualities of a particular suspension design; in particular, camber improves grip when cornering.”

To us, Camber represents a slight change made to the “angle of attack” while simultaneously making a change in overall direction. The slight change in the angle of attack improves overall performance.
